BBC World Service

  1. BBC Radio and television News: The BBC News site has excellent radio and television news coverage plus supplementary video recordings and concise texts for reading and listening comprehension.

  2. BBC Listen Again: This is an excellent resource for listening skills development and also for project research.

  3. BBC Learning English pages: BBC Learning English has quizzes, listening comprehensions, reading exercises with vocabulary building activities and even a short business English skills course. There is a useful archives section.

News Stories (KXTV archived stories) presented with exercises: Vocabulary, Sequencing, Select a Word, Multiple Choice, Drawing conclusions, Show and Tell.  Each KXTV news story has a video clip of the original news cast. Every page - from the news report and story of news event through all of the lesson activities - have a recording of all of the content on the page for those who want to hear what they are reading. An excellent site.

News Quiz Students will be asked 5 questions. Each question has 4 possible answers. If they're correct, they'll get 10 points. If they're incorrect, they'll get another try. If they're correct on their second try, they'll get 5 points. If they're incorrect, they'll be given the answer and will be able to move on to the next question.

INK Tips-Newspaper to invent.
